Our most popular method – chosen when carpets need deeper, more intensive care.

Deep Carpet Cleaning Leeds- Power of Steam Carpet Cleaning and Modern Chemical Solutions

The most popular method, and the one best suited for heavily soiled carpets, is Hot Water Extraction—sometimes referred to as Steam Carpet Cleaning or Deep Carpet Cleaning. Carefully selected, child- and pet-safe cleaning solutions are highly effective in tackling even the toughest stains, including spills from drinks, food, makeup, blood, urine, and even paint.

How Our Deep Carpet Cleaning Works

Safe detergents are used to loosen and lift the dirt from the fibres.  Once the dirt is loosened, we remove it by rinsing the carpet using a heavy-duty extractor machine that produces hot water/steam and powerful suction. This process thoroughly extracts dirt, cleaning agents, and residues, leaving the carpet fresh, clean, and completely free of chemicals. The effectiveness of this method is remarkable, which is why it is our standard procedure for most clients.

The latest technology – an investment that truly pays off.

We have always invested in the most effective solutions—cutting-edge and high-powered extractors, agitation machines, hot bonnet systems for encapsulation, mechanical sprayers, advanced brush and pad sets, UV lamps, and an extensive range of specialist spotters for tackling stains that require more advanced techniques.

Pet stain removal and odour neutralisation for heavily affected carpets

Trust Cleaner specialises in removing pet stains and odours from the carpets in your home. As a dog lover himself, he understands that accidents happen — often on carpets where they can cause permanent damage if not treated correctly. Our specialist methods allow us to break urine down at a molecular level, neutralise its harmful effects on the fibres and then extract it fully from the carpet. For wool carpets, where stains can be particularly stubborn, we use gentle oxidising treatments combined with UV light activation. This process often restores even heavily affected areas to a clean, natural appearance.

Carpet Cleaning FAQ

The most common question you can ask
How much does it cost?
We’re unable to give a reliable estimate without more details. Our minimum charge is £80. For a quick quote, call us on 07340544554 , use the chat, or send a message via the form below. We can provide a quote without a home visit, helping keep your costs lower.
Will you remove all the stains from the carpet?
This is always our main goal, and in most cases we achieve it. However, some stains are permanent because the fibres—especially natural ones like wool—have been damaged. There are methods that work even on wool carpets, but it’s important to understand that in certain situations a stain simply cannot be removed. To confirm this, a test is required. Without carrying out a test, we cannot give a 100% guarantee either way.
Will my carpets be very wet?
Our method uses liquid-based cleaning, which is the most effective approach for deep carpet cleaning. However, it does leave the carpet damp. In cases of heavier soiling, we may need to rinse the carpet 2–3 times, which can extend the drying time. In summer, carpets often dry within 2–3 hours; in winter, drying may take 5–8 hours.
What should I prepare before your arrival?
First and foremost, we need access to water and electricity. If there is no power or water, we will not be able to perform the service. Vacuuming is not required, as we always do this as part of our service. This allows us to conduct a proper inspection and identify areas that need special attention. We usually recommend that clients remove small items, plants, and smaller pieces of furniture if possible, to make as much space available as possible.
Do you move furniture?
We always try to move furniture whenever possible. Sofas, tables, chairs and smaller pieces are never a problem. If an item is too heavy or unsafe to move, we work around it and clean the accessible areas. To make things easier, it’s helpful to empty any cabinets or units that need to be moved — this keeps your belongings safe and makes the furniture lighter. These preparations should be done before our arrival. In some cases, moving furniture isn’t necessary. The carpet underneath is usually in very good condition, and placing heavy furniture back immediately can block airflow, slowing down the drying process in that spot.
Do you dry the carpets after cleaning?
As part of our standard cleaning service, we do not dry carpets after cleaning. This is a premium option. It takes additional time, thereby increasing the cost of the service. Almost always, carpets are able to dry naturally without any issues. Often, cleaners claim they dry the carpet but only set up fans for a few minutes, which is more of a marketing tactic than actual drying. We use equipment for water damage restoration—powerful dryers and dehumidifiers. The dryers help with air circulation, while the dehumidifiers remove excess moisture, allowing us to control the microclimate of your room and ensure the optimal conditions for the fastest carpet drying. This service is priced individually.
How long does the job take to complete?
Depending on the scope of work, our service usually takes anywhere from around 40 minutes for a single room or a standard staircase with good access, up to about 3 hours for larger jobs such as multiple rooms or sofas. We work in two-person teams, which means everything is completed efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
Do we have to be present in the house ?
No, we only need access to your property. We can leave the key in the agreed place, and the payment can be made by bank transfer.
Do you vacuum the carpets first?
Yes, this is part of our standard procedure. We always vacuum the carpet thoroughly before we begin the cleaning process.
Do you require any deposit?
No, we don’t require a deposit. However, your booking is a verbal agreement. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible — ideally at least 24 hours in advance.
How do I pay for the servce?
Cash or bank transfer after completion.
Do you work weekends and after hours?
Yes, we work on Saturdays, and on Sundays when necessary. We offer flexible appointments to all customers.

Low-Moisture Carpet Cleaning – A Smart Alternative to Dry Cleaning

Many clients ask for a “dry carpet cleaning service”, even when it isn’t the right option for their carpets. The reason is simple — they worry that their carpets will stay wet for too long. When the level of soiling and the type of carpet clearly indicate that extraction is the safest and most effective method, we always explain that, when carried out properly, it does not cause any drying issues. For carpets that aren’t heavily soiled, we often choose low-moisture cleaning instead. This involves applying a self-neutralising detergent that breaks down the dirt, followed by agitation using a rotary machine with specialist pads. The pads absorb the loosened soil, leaving the carpet exceptionally clean with minimal moisture.

Dry Cleaning Only

However, there are situations where a carpet requires dry cleaning only, and in those cases we always follow the correct method. This applies to carpets made from fibres that cannot come into contact with water. These materials are cleaned using a specialist dry compound, which contains solvent-based cleaning agents capable of breaking down soil without moisture. The compound is carried by micro-sponges that absorb the dissolved dirt, leaving the carpet safely and effectively cleaned without using water.

Standard goes beyond

What’s Included in Our Carpet Cleaning Service

Our carpet cleaning service includes several key steps designed to deliver the highest standard of results: professional pre-vacuuming, assistance with moving furniture, and final grooming and deodorising. These stages form an essential part of our process and are always included with no hidden fees.

Pre-Vacuuming with Professional Equipment

Every appointment begins with a thorough pre-vacuum using commercial-grade machinery. This removes dry soil, dust, grit and pet hair from deep within the carpet pile, allowing our cleaning solutions to work far more effectively. It also helps lift and open the fibres, giving us a clear picture of the carpet’s condition during the inspection stage. By removing loose debris first, the deep-cleaning process can focus purely on embedded dirt. This step is a vital part of professional carpet care and is included as standard.

Assistance with Moving Furniture

To make the cleaning process as smooth and stress-free as possible, we help with moving lighter and medium-weight furniture where it is safe to do so. Items such as chairs, small tables and lighter sofas can be carefully repositioned to give us proper access to the carpeted areas. For heavier, fragile or built-in pieces, we clean around them with great care to avoid any risk of damage. This ensures a more even and thorough clean across all accessible sections of your home — and it comes at no extra cost.

Grooming and Deodorising for a Fresh, Professional Finish

After the deep-cleaning stage, we finish with fibre grooming and a light deodoriser. Grooming resets the carpet pile, speeds up drying and leaves the fibres looking uniform and well-presented. Our deodorising step adds a clean, fresh scent without using overpowering fragrances, ensuring the room feels bright and pleasant as soon as the work is complete. Both grooming and deodorising are included as part of our standard carpet cleaning service, providing the polished finish Trust Cleaner is known for.

When We Go Beyond Standard Cleaning

Additional Carpet Cleaning Services

Advanced Stain Removal Service

There are occasions when standard deep cleaning simply isn’t enough. Some stains are so stubborn that their removal has very little to do with the strength of the machine or the power of the cleaning solution. Instead, they require specialist techniques and a more chemical-led approach.
Using methods such as oxidising treatmentsUV-activated solutions, and a range of advanced professional products, we can target stains at a molecular level. These techniques go far beyond regular carpet cleaning and fall into the category of specialist chemical stain removal, carried out only when it is safe and appropriate for the fibre.

Drying Carpets & Water Damage Restoration

While our standard cleaning method leaves carpets drying quickly, we also offer additional carpet drying when required. This optional service uses specialist equipment, including high-performance fans and professional dehumidifiers, to speed up the drying process.

We also provide water damage restoration, including flood recovery. These cases are more complex and often involve lifting the carpet, treating the underlay, and running drying equipment for extended periods to ensure that the structure is completely dry. This service is time-intensive and requires dedicated tools, making it a separate offering from general carpet cleaning.

Carpet Protector

To help maintain the fresh, clean look of your carpets for as long as possible, we offer a high-quality carpet protector treatment. This invisible protective layer repels spills, dirt and everyday contaminants, preventing them from settling deep into the fibres. It is particularly beneficial in high-traffic areas and is highly recommended for homes with children or pets. With a professional protector applied after cleaning, your carpets stay cleaner for longer and are much easier to maintain.
