Deep Carpet Cleaning - Power of Steam Carpet Cleaning and Modern Chemical Solutions
The most popular method, and the one best suited for heavily soiled carpets, is Hot Water Extraction—sometimes referred to as Steam Carpet Cleaning or Deep Carpet Cleaning. Carefully selected, child- and pet-safe cleaning solutions are highly effective in tackling even the toughest stains, including spills from drinks, food, makeup, blood, urine, and even paint.
How Our Deep Carpet Cleaning Works
Safe detergents are used to loosen and lift the dirt from the fibres. Once the dirt is loosened, we remove it by rinsing the carpet using a heavy-duty extractor machine that produces hot water/steam and powerful suction. This process thoroughly extracts dirt, cleaning agents, and residues, leaving the carpet fresh, clean, and completely free of chemicals. The effectiveness of this method is remarkable, which is why it is our standard procedure for most clients.
The latest technology – an investment that truly pays off.
We have always invested in the most effective solutions—cutting-edge and high-powered extractors, agitation machines, hot bonnet systems for encapsulation, mechanical sprayers, advanced brush and pad sets, UV lamps, and an extensive range of specialist spotters for tackling stains that require more advanced techniques.
Expert Carpet Cleaner in Leeds - Mark, the Owner
Mark is the foundation of Trust Cleaner — with over 30 years in the carpet cleaning industry and nearly two decades as the owner of our family-run company. He is a Certified WoolSafe Technician with specialist knowledge in wool care, fibre safety and luxury/designer rug maintenance. Trusted by thousands of Yorkshire homeowners, Mark is the person our team turns to when a carpet needs expert handling or a problem seems too complex. When others don’t know what to do — Mark does. His experience shapes our methods, our standards and the way we train every technician who joins our team. Tom and Adam are his sons, and they’ve been working alongside him for more than a decade, carrying forward the same standards, knowledge and family values that Mark built the company on.
Urine & stain removal and odour neutralisation for heavily affected carpets
Many clients ask for a “dry carpet cleaning service”, even when it isn’t the right option for their carpets. The reason is simple — they worry that their carpets will stay wet for too long. When the level of soiling and the type of carpet clearly indicate that extraction is the safest and most effective method, we always explain that, when carried out properly, it does not cause any drying issues. For carpets that aren’t heavily soiled, we often choose low-moisture cleaning instead. This involves applying a self-neutralising detergent that breaks down the dirt, followed by agitation using a rotary machine with specialist pads. The pads absorb the loosened soil, leaving the carpet exceptionally clean with minimal moisture.
Dry Cleaning Only
However, there are situations where a carpet requires dry cleaning only, and in those cases we always follow the correct method. This applies to carpets made from fibres that cannot come into contact with water. These materials are cleaned using a specialist dry compound, which contains solvent-based cleaning agents capable of breaking down soil without moisture. The compound is carried by micro-sponges that absorb the dissolved dirt, leaving the carpet safely and effectively cleaned without using water.

Carpet cleaning Service in details
Vacuuming your carpets before the wet cleaning process begins.
Even if the client has already vacuumed their carpets, we always do it again. Everyone has different vacuuming techniques, some more thorough than others, and, of course, we all use different equipment. Our professional vacuuming ensures the best possible preparation before the deep cleaning process begins.
Moving furniture
We always try to move any furniture that can be safely relocated. This is our standard practice.
Grooming and Deodorising after cleaning procedure
As part of our service, we carefully groom the carpet to restore its fibres and enhance its appearance. We also apply a deodoriser to leave your carpets smelling fresh and clean
Additional Services
Advanced Stain Removal Service
There are situations where deep cleaning alone is not enough. Some stains are so persistent that their removal does not depend on the power of the machine or the strength of the cleaning solution used in the process. Instead, specialised techniques are required, such as the use of oxidisers, UV-activated chemicals, or advanced solutions that go beyond standard deep cleaning and enter the realm of specialised chemical expertise.
Drying carpets or water damage restoration
We have the capability to dry carpets after cleaning; however, this step can be included in addition to our standard service. We also provide water damage restoration, including flood recovery. These services are time-consuming, require specialised equipment i.e fans and dehumidifires, and in cases of severe water damage, often involve lifting the carpet to ensure thorough drying and restoration.
Carpet Protector
To extend the cleanliness and longevity of your carpets, we offer a professional carpet protector treatment. This invisible shield helps repel dirt, spills, and stains, making future cleaning easier and preventing deep-seated damage. Ideal for high-traffic areas, homes with children, or pet owners, our carpet protector ensures your carpets stay fresher for longer.

How We Clean Carpets at your Home
Contact us either by calling us or chatting using the chat on this website – you will get a quote and you can book appointment
Tom – one of our main technicians is responsible for initial contact with clients and manages our schedule. To provide a quote for your job, we need a few pieces of information: your postcode, scope of the job – how many rooms, any stairs, is any room larger than 20 square metres, what is the actual state of the carpet – just standard dirt accumulated over time or some specific problems like tougher stains, bad odours, dampness, or presence of urine or blood. If you provide us with this information, we can quote your job immediately and schedule the completion date at a time that suits you best.
What do you need to do before our arrival
If the house is empty – without furniture – the only thing you need to do is make sure that we will have access to electricity and water. That’s it. If you already live in this house, try to clear all items from the floors and furniture that you want us to move. You can take smaller items out of the rooms to areas where we won’t be cleaning so they won’t be in our way. Do not move sofas, tables, and anything that is very heavy or might be damaged. Do not vacuum. We will do that for you.
Completion of the order
Our friendly carpet cleaning team will arrive punctually, ready to assess your property’s specific risks and clearly explain the carpet cleaning process if you ask them for details.
We will vacuum all surfaces to be cleaned, then apply a cleaning agent and use a rotary machine to work it into the deeper parts of the carpet. The next step will be hot water/steam extraction – rinsing the cleaned carpets to remove the softened dirt and used detergent. During extraction, we remove 97% of the moisture, thus reducing the drying time to a few hours. The entire process, depending on the scope of the job, lasts from 40 minutes to 2.5 hours for larger homes. We usually operate in two-person teams, and our efficiency and productivity often surprise our clients. You can see reflections of this in the Google reviews left by our customers.
Drying carpets – additional service
Our process and extractor allow us to reduce the natural drying time of carpets to just a few hours. However, if you would like to take advantage of our additional carpet drying service, please mention this when booking your appointment. Besides carpet cleaning, we offer a flood restoration service, so we have equipment that can dry your carpets in a very short time. Assisted drying is an additional service, not included in the standard cleaning.
